This is a bruised screen. Bruises can be easy to miss if you're not looking for them. They can be either green or purple in appearance.

Copy screens can be identified in many ways. Usually, you will see big stamps or markings from the manufacturer on the rear of the screen, see example. You can also usually tell it's a copy from taking a look at the flex, as these can look cheap and not have any Apple branding.

This display has a dead pixel. In this example photo, you can see this ever so slightly in the bottom right corner. These dead pixels can appear anywhere on the display.

Screen burn catches many people out, as it can be hard to see. If you take a look at the example photo, you can see the WiFi and Battery symbol has burned into the display.
